Workshop Overview
The workshop aims to cultivate personal leadership skills in educators. Participants will develop the ability to identify and manage various factors that can influence their teaching, including personal factors such as professional identity, system challenges such as policies and procedures, and the use of technology.
In addition, the workshop aims to help teachers become 21st century artists, who can define their own voice and vision while teaching, and teach proactively rather than reactively. By the end of the workshop, teachers will have gained practical skills and knowledge to enhance their teaching ability and effectiveness.

Personal efficiency system
Day 2 - Teaching like an artist
Applying your 'voice' in the classroom
Creating and maintaining a creative classroom environment
Deconstructing standards into classroom level challenges
Managing colleagues (assistants, co-teachers, managers)
Methodology

Participants will be actively engaged in the learning process.

The facilitator will serve as a coach and guide throughout their learning journey. She will work alongside participants and help them explore new concepts and apply new strategies in a supportive and collaborative setting.

To sustain learning and support implementation, an online Padlet based learning and networking community will be created to address and share queries and ideas.

Workshop Facilitator
Sonthaya (Sandy) Chutisacha, MSc. Counseling Psychology, has been involved in the field of education since 2005.
She has worked as a learning support assistant, counselor, professional development coordinator, and most recently as a learning and instructional coach.
Sandy is a founding partner at Knowledge Source Institute (ksipd.com), an organization that coordinates professional development workshops.
In 2018, she launched KSI Academy, a lab school aimed at promoting best practices in teaching and school administration. She is currently leading this initiative as a learning and instructional coach.

Who is this session tailored for, beginners or professionals with more experience?
The personalised nature of this workshop makes this applicable for both groups. If you are new at your job, this will give you a solid foundation. If you have years of experience under your belt, this session will give you the space to reflect and update.
If I cannot make it to the workshop, will you offer a refund?
Given the logistics involved, we will not be able to offer a refund, but you can transfer your registration to somebody else.
Do you offer Continuing Education Credits?
No.
