Workshop Overview
A framework that scaffolds the mentoring process ensures that the mentoring session moves the student forward - academically and personally.
This practical workshop will outline a simple goal based mentoring framework that participants will practice in the course of the workshop. The workshop will also briefly cover self-reflection skills for mentors.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to answer the following:
1. How can I help students self-reflect and set academic and personal goals?
2. How can I use data driven goals to intrinsically motivate students?
3. What is my self-reflection practice and how can I make time for it?
Workshop Leader
This workshop will be lead by Sonthaya Chutisacha (MSc. Counseling Psychology). Sonthaya is currently an educator and a professional development coordinator for international schools in Asia and Africa.
She is the founder of KSI Learning Center - a lab school that implements an updated model of education with Personalised Learning, Self-Knowledge and Real World Skills at its core.
