Target Audience

Teachers will learn how to use a digital personal management system to organize their digital lives and systemize their lesson planning.

Instructional Coaches and Tech Directors can use a similar system to organize the information that they share with teachers.

Imagine how much simpler lesson planning would be if you could access every piece of material for every lesson you've ever created.

Consider what it would be like if you could retrieve any activity you've ever learned and easily match it with a corresponding technology tool.

Envision how much time you could save if you could store, access, and systemize nearly every aspect of your digital life as a teacher.

All of this, and more, is possible when you learn how to build your second teacher brain with Notion.

You'll leave this session understanding how to apply Tiago Forte's groundbreaking personal knowledge management system using Notion, a free project-management program that will make Google Drive seem like a relic from the distant past.

Participants will learn:

  • How to use the CODE system to capture, organize, distill, and express the different pieces of information you encounter in the world.

  • How to set up and use Notion as your second teacher's brain.

  • How to systemize lesson planning

Implementable Skills

By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with the following:

  1. Learn how to use Notion, a digital personal knowledge management system.

  2. Learn how to use the CODE (capture, organize, distill, and express) system to organize and make use of various pieces of information.

  3. Learn how to use your second brain to speed up your process of lesson planning.
