Lead Yourself, Lead Your Classroom
A Personal Development Workshop for the 21st Century Educator
"There are days when I tune in to the class and teach instinctively (with a skeletal lesson plan) and those classes are great. Students are energized and so am I. I also get a lot covered."
If the quote resonates with you, you are in sync with your updated role in the classroom.
As a teacher of a 21st century classroom you are building your students' higher order thinking skills. You are essentially doing what a professional coach/consultant does.
Your updated role requires an updated teaching pedagogy. Here’s the best part - the pedagogy is not outlined by an expert out there.
In the course of this workshop you will uncover and define a teaching pedagogy based on your strengths and personality.
The objective of this workshop is:
To enable you to define, design and maintain your unique pedagogy for teaching a 21st century classroom.
We'll meet our objective by covering the following:
Identifying personal milestones, intentions, needs and strengths.
Carving out a personal productive and creative schedule.
Characteristics of highly effective pedagogies
Defining and designing a teaching pedagogy based on your strengths and personality
Msc. Counseling Psychology
We'll get straight to the point. What qualifies you to lead this workshop?
To begin with I am a Counseling Psychologist. I have been a Personalised Learning Coach since 2005. In the course of my learning journey, I gained a lot from the professional development workshops I attended.
Inspired by that, I co-founded Knowledge Source Institute (KSIPD), a provider of PD workshops for educators around the world. This venture gave me the opportunity to learn from the best in the field.
I put my knowledge and experience to practice in the micro-school I initiated in 2018. The core program at the school is based on my unique pedagogy as an educator. I live this workshop every single day.
