K-12 Teachers

As educators we strive to equip our students  with skills they can use in the real world.  Building and facilitating social intelligence in our students is an important part of our job.

Research has shown that introverts and extroverts are biologically different.   Making friends and  interacting with peers comes effortlessly to some but for others it is not how they are wired.

Many well established school based  activities champion extroverts (eg. school plays, team sports).  We need to consciously design learning experiences for introverts so they are not left behind and also at the same time equip them with skills for life.

Workshop Objectives and Methodology

This workshop will equip you with:

  • Working knowledge  about introversion that will help you identify and understand it better.

This will be done via an interactive presentation that will summarise important research.

  • Ready to use strategies in your classroom.

As a professional learning community, we will  discuss strategies based on our working knowledge about introversion and your classroom experience. The workshop will allow for individual reflection time where you will collate your knowledge into workable strategies for your classroom.

This workshop will be facilitated by....
