Given below is a compilation of participants' responses to the following query on the Workshop Evaluation Form:  

"What was your key takeaway from this event?"

 

  • The reiteration of basic communication skills that often occur in delicate areas.

  • The idea o influence. The idea of being effective regardless of the context and setting through the behaviors, skills, and strategies that we can learn and practice.

  • There were a lot of great ideas that I can reflect on, as well as bring into my practice and team interactions now.

  • Awareness of how I communicate is key.

  • Non-verbal communication.

  • Importance of self-reflection, being aware of how I influence others, how I can give people the tools to reflect on themselves too.
