Session 1

In this interactive session, participants will improve their STEM practice and knowledge by learning how Makerspaces can support STEM pathways across the grade levels with project based learning. Additionally, they will learn to apply computational thinking as a framework for solving  problems.

Session 2
In this session, participants will learn to draw on familiar concepts that connect their previous learning to computational thinking and algorithm design for flowcharting. Strategies applied in this workshop can be replicated in the classroom and with learners of all ages.

Session 3
In this session, participants will learn how project-based learning (PBL) is a natural fit for teaching STEM and environmental education, how current research supports its use in the classroom, and how to get started developing your students into environmentally aware problem-solvers.
